Employing our unique Brain Potential composite cognitive screening test, we measure the underlying areas of the brain that govern learning. This initial test is FREE and takes 2 hours. Family members are encouraged to observe the administration of all testing performed.

Test results are followed by a consultation with students, family, and staff where we explain how the color coded test results chart identifies areas of strengths and opportunities for improvement. During the consultation our staff will customize an individualized training program that is specifically targeted to improve and enhance the cognitive skills of each student.

Brain Potential Institute uses our own cognitive training program “Genius in Training." This program works to train underlying areas in the brain that govern learning including auditory memory, visual memory, and brain processing speed.

Our LABS program works to improve visual processing, sound blending, segmenting, word attack, logic, and pattern analysis. Once these areas are strengthened, many students are able to set goals for their lives that they never before thought possible. Indeed we believe that their possibilities are limitless!

Traditional tutoring simply re-teaches subjects such as math, reading, history, etc.; however, families sometimes spend thousands of dollars only to discover that traditional tutoring was not effective. When underlying cognitive processes are creating difficulties, traditional tutoring may not succeed. For example, would you install new software on a computer hard drive that isn’t operating efficiently and expect it to work well? So, would the solution be to continue reinstalling the software, or to first repair the computer hard drive?
